You can also do it yourself

If you'd rather keep control of the timing, Hodiploy includes a self-service import tool: you create an empty instance, open an import session, upload your Odoo.sh, Odoo Online or on-premise export over SFTP, then load it into the instance. Your data stays on your own server from start to finish.

Here too it's included, and our team remains available to assist you or take over at any point.

|| Hodiploy was designed by the Hodi teams to give integrators a management interface that is more complete, more flexible and closer to real-world needs than the standard Odoo.sh interface.

Directly connected to your Hodi account, Hodiploy lets you create, edit and administer your Odoo instances entirely on your own. You no longer just deploy a project: you actually run your infrastructure.

From a single interface you can fine-tune the resources allocated to each instance (CPU, RAM, worker count), adapt the power as your clients grow, and evolve the environment without friction. That agility optimises performance while keeping costs under control.

Hodiploy also simplifies advanced technical management. You can connect your GitHub account in one click or plug in any Git repository over SSH, choose a hodiploy.app subdomain or register a dedicated domain through Hodi, configure a custom SMTP server, choose the Community or Enterprise edition, and control your instance settings precisely.

Update management is more flexible too: you decide when and how your instances evolve, with a granularity suited to demanding production environments.

The full lifecycle of an instance is covered, and that is often where the day-to-day difference shows:

• Automatic nightly backups, plus the backups you trigger on demand, with the option to lock some so they are never overwritten
• Restoring a backup set onto the instance itself, or into a new instance, which gives you a test environment faithful to production in minutes
• Duplicating a complete instance, code, database and attachments
• Recovering a deleted instance, its backups outliving the deletion by a few days
• Importing an Odoo.sh, Odoo Online or on-premise export, self-service
• A full activity log per instance: who did what, when, and with what result
• Downloading a backup, piece by piece, in standard formats: your data leaves the platform whenever you decide
• A terminal in the browser, inside the instance's Odoo container, with no SSH key
• Resource usage graphs (processor, memory, network, disk), from the last hour to the last month, measured by the server itself
• Addon services alongside the ERP, in a few clicks: Redis, MinIO, Gotenberg, ClamAV

In short, where Odoo.sh offers a standardised framework, Hodiploy offers a more open, more customisable management platform, designed for integrators who want to build their own offering, keep control of their architecture and deliver a premium service to their clients.

|| With Odoo Cloud by Hodi, installing Odoo Community is possible. You are free to choose the Odoo version best suited to your strategy, your budget or your integration model, with no constraint imposed by the hosting platform.

Community and Enterprise are both available, and the choice is made instance by instance, in the "Edition" field of the Hodiploy form. Nothing stops you from running a Community instance for one client and an Enterprise instance for another, on the same server.

The Enterprise edition adds the official Odoo modules on top of the Community image. It assumes on your side a valid Odoo subscription and access to the odoo/enterprise repository, which Odoo grants GitHub account by GitHub account: you give Odoo your GitHub username from your partner or subscription portal, then enter in Hodiploy a read-only GitHub access token issued from that account. The subscription code can be entered in Hodiploy or later from Odoo.

Versions 15 to 19 are offered. The version is chosen when the instance is created and cannot be changed afterwards: to move to another version, you create a new instance and restore or import the data into it.

You therefore get complete flexibility in choosing and evolving your Odoo environment.

You therefore get stable, predictable, and isolated performance, with no resource sharing with other environments. This guarantees greater consistency in response times and full control over the capacity allocated to your ERP.

|| With Odoo Cloud by Hodi, backup storage is included in our plans.

You get daily backups with no volume-based surcharge, for billing that stays readable and predictable over time.

What's included, concretely

• An automatic nightly backup of each Odoo instance, database and attachments included
• The on-demand backups you trigger yourself from Hodiploy, as often as you need
• 7 backup slots per instance, 6 of which can be locked so they are never replaced by a more recent backup
• Restores, onto the instance itself or into a new instance, self-service from the interface
• Storage off your server, on infrastructure dedicated to that purpose

None of this is billed by volume or per operation.

And if I need more?

If your business requires a deeper history than 7 sets, or a specific retention policy, let's talk: that is handled case by case rather than on a meter.

|| With Odoo Cloud by Hodi, an SMTP server is included in our packages.

This lets you send your emails directly from your Odoo instance without being limited by a restrictive quota, making it easy to handle high-volume sending (invoicing, campaigns, automated reminders, system notifications).

You therefore keep full control over your sending capacity and email deliverability.
