The first step, the process begins by contacting your current hosting provider to retrieve a few technical details, including the code required to transfer your existing domain name to Hodi. Your Hodi migration specialist will prepare a tailor-made email for you, which you simply need to forward to your current provider.
A single point of contact throughout the migration
Once the required technical information is received, your migration specialist checks that your future server is properly configured to host your website.
When everything is ready, your website and email data from your current provider are copied over to Hodi.
This process may take more or less time depending on the size and location of your current server.
Once the transfer is complete, your migration specialist verifies that everything is working correctly on Hodi and agrees with you on a precise date and time for the final switch.
They will also inform you whether any configuration changes are needed for your email software (Outlook, Thunderbird, Mail.app), and will assist you if necessary.

On the day of the switch, any data modified since the initial copy is transferred to Hodi.
Your migration specialist then proceeds to disconnect your domain from your old server and connect it to your new Hodi server.
